With Degrees in Psychology, Counselling and currently completing Master of Counselling
and Psychotherapy, Neri brings along her expertise of mental health services, has been working in different settings of public and private sectors. She practises Solution Focused and Strength Based Therapy in conjunction with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic approach.
Neri has been developing workplace mental fitness programs that aim to improve the quality of employee engagement, productivity and overall wellbeing. With a Vietnamese background, Neri is committed in assisting consumers of disadvantaged communities in mental health rehabilitation and recovery.
As the CEO (aka Chief Troublemaker), managing director and founder of Pure Insights, Anastasia brings to the team her vast knowledge of the counselling, coaching and training industries. Anastasia has Degree in Applied Social Science with major in Counselling, Diplomas in Communication, Child Care and Education, Certificate in Training and Assessment. She is an approved Clinical Supervisor and Practitioner of many professional associations, including Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of NSW (CAPA), Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (ARCAP) and Employee Assistance Professional Association of Australasia (EAPAA). Anastasia specialises
in workplace mental health, family dynamics and individual barriers towards growth and success. She is passionate about closing the gaps in service delivery and driven to support her team in developing and implemeting tailored and high quality of servicing across
Karen has a Diploma of Education (Primary) and a Graduate Diploma of Counselling from the Australian Collage of Applied Psychology. She is also a member of CAPA (Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association of NSW). Karen has over 24 years experience as a teacher in primary and high schools, in both Australia and overseas. More recently, she has worked as a counsellor with carers, in the drug and alcohol field and now with JSA clients through Pure Insights. She has experience in relating to a broad range of clients through JSA sites, by helping them to break down some of their barriers preventing employment.
Dave lives and works on the beautiful South Coast of New South Wales. He has a Bachelor of Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Psychology. A registered psychologist, Dave's passion is for assisting those in need, and he is always pleased at the opportunity to help others discover and clarify their own pure insights. Through his ongoing experience helping clients with dual-diagnoses, as well as those recovering from drugs and alcohol, Dave is committed to working with people from all walks of life. Dave firmly believes that supporting others to recognise their potential creates lasting effects in their lives, and the lifes of those around them.
Irene holds a degree in community psychology and is currently completing her master of Clinical Psychology and Master of rehabilitation counselling. Irene has expertise in Gender Based Violence programming and Child protection. With an African background, Irene has worked extensively with refugees in both conflict and non-conflict settings and has research interests in Mental Health and livelihoods resourcing among refugees. Irene is interested in working with the disadvantaged in the community and in promoting social inclusion and participation.
A registered psychologist and associate member of the Australian Psychological Society, El has the following qualifications; Graduate Diploma in Psychology and
Bachelor of Science with fourth year
Honours in Psychology, from the University
El transitioned careers from Actuarial work
to Psychology work in 2011. Since then,
El has worked in Disability Employment Services and Vocationoal Rehabilitation.
Her experience and passion in helping to empower jobseekers to realise their full potential.
Gaby is a qualified Gestalt psychotherapist with a background in applied social science and bodywork. She has worked accross community service sector where she has the opportunities to support those experiencing dependence issues, domestic violence, mental health conditions, trauma and complex health concerns. Gaby values ethical practice, transperancy and professionalism in her work and believes optimal results begin with a trusting therapeutic relationship.
Gaby seeks to empower and support positive change by assisting in developing awareness, building confidence, identifying and evaluating options and together developing an action
plan for the future. She considers her role of walking alongisde people on their journey through life's trials and tribulations an honor and privilege.
With a degree in Applied Social Sciences (majoring in counselling) and currently completing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Erin brings along experience in the field of drug and alcohol counselling, involving a collaborative approach to intervention, treatment and support for people experiencing various Mental health issues
and harms assocaited with alcohol or other drug use.
Erin's counselling approaches include
Solution Focused and Strength based approach, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in addition to Psychodynamic approaches. Erin believes in providing professional support to clients on both a practical and psychological level to become actively engaged in improving their quality of life and achieving their potential.
A qualified and registered psychologist, Gordon brings along his professional skills
and passion for people in needs. He is trained in evidence-based models of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.
Gordon has experiences in providing psychological consultations and counselling services to individuals and families on a range of psychological and emotional challenges such as stress, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, sexuality, addiction and suicidal behaviour, relationships and
social skills issues, cross-cultural mental health, youth developmental and study difficulties. He is a bilingual counsellor who
can conduct sessions in Cantonese,
Mandarin and English.
With a professional background spanning more than 30 years in senior human resources management role across broad range of corporate and not-for-profit organisations, Chris is passionate about making a more meaningful and empowering difference to the lives of people in need of quality support, guidance, and a brighter future.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Master of Counselling and Applied Psychotherapy. He is a professional member of the Psychotheray and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
Julia has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master of Counselling. She has experiences across Human Resources, Workplace Rehabilitation and mental wellbeing in the workplace. Julia is passionate about helping you help yourself.
Carol-Anne holds a Master in Psychotherapy, a Degree in Counselling and Human Change, and further qualifications in Human Resources and Training. She has worked in Human Resources for over 25 years and is well versed in mediation, investigations, coaching and behavioural education in the corporate area.
Carol-Anne uses an integrated perspective to therapy where she feels lifts the restrictions of being aligned with one therapeutic technique. She places great importance on the relationship between the therapist and the client as the most powerful agent of change.
Michelle has been working to support people experiencing barriers and empowering individuals to succeed through an holistic approach. Michelle has extensive knowledge and experiences in the community, health and employment service sectors.
Annie has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology,
a Diploma in Counselling and is a member of the Australian Counselling Association. She has extensive experience in providing counselling support to clients of employment services facing a broad range of barriers to employment. She has also worked in the smoking cessation and brain injury rehabilitation fields. Annie's passion is to support clients in developing the confidence and motivation they need to move them towards their goals of securing employment, independence and control in their lives.
Sophia has extensive experience in the welfare service provision industry. She has worked in Senior Management roles as General Manager, Operations Manager
and has developed policy and systems protocols for non-government agencies. Sophia assists her clients rehabilitate
towards healthy self-empowered individuals with Vocational Rehabilitation, Career Development and Life skills facilitation.
She holds a Graduate Diploma in Social Communication, a Graduate Certificate in Analytical Psychology and is currently completing her Masters in Counselling
